ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER
Your order becomes binding as soon as it has been accepted by Chien Couture or Picture House Publishing, subject to your rights of cancellation (please refer to section Cancellation and Returns). The product you order will be bespoke to you in accordance with the instructions and specifications you have given us. It is your responsibility to check all the details and aspects of your order are correct and that the goods are suitable for your requirements (including product features, measurements, dimensions, delivery and access) when we send through your order acknowledgement email.
LIABILITY
If the product you have received is damaged or we have made a mistake with your order we will repair or replace it as soon as possible. Upon delivery of your product, please check it very carefully and report any problems immediately as we will not be held liable for visible defects identified after 48 hours of delivery. We cannot be held liable for conditions of use or storage within the customer’s house following delivery which may affect the product in any way. Please refer to our ‘Care of Artwork’ section on our website for guidance.
PAYMENT
Because each product is bespoke, we take full payment for the cost of the goods when your order is placed. International customers will be responsible for the payment of any applicable import duties and taxes. All orders are completely refundable up to 24 hours after your order is placed, before they are dispatched.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices are correct at the time of publication. If an error has been made, we or you may cancel the order subject to the terms indicated under cancellation and returns. We reserve the right to change prices without notice up until the time you have placed your order.
DELIVERY
Each piece of art bought from Chien Couture or Picture House Publishing is made to your individual specifications. We aim to deliver unframed to your door within 5 working days. Framed and original artwork can take up to 10 working days, especially if we need to have packaging custom built. If we are unable to dispatch your order within 10 days, we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated dispatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.
International delivery is also offered, depending on the destination country delivery times may take longer so please contact us if you have any questions. Any import duties and taxes are payable by the recipient so please be sure to check these with your local authorities before purchasing.
CANCELLATION & RETURNS
Standard and bespoke art is made to order and therefore personalised as recognised by the Distance Selling Regulations. You have a right to return any standard item within 7 days from the date you received it. If for any reason you feel the artwork is not right for you, please do get in touch before returning it as we might be able to help you find an alternative piece. Returned items must be in perfect condition. The customer covers the cost of the return delivery. Your return courier option should cover the value of the artwork please be sure to request proof of postage as we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred through returns. Once a returned item has been received and signed for by Chien Couture or Picture House Publishing, we will refund you within 30 days via your original payment method.
We take pride in every piece of artwork that leaves the studio with exceptional levels of quality control. In the very rare occurrence that a product is damaged in transit please contact us on receipt and within 48 hours and we will arrange for collection. The artwork will need to be wrapped in as much of the original packaging as possible, placed into the external protection and sealed before it is collected.
Any personalised products cannot be returned after you have received them unless they are confirmed as defective or damaged, in which case please contact us immediately. We will aim repair or replace at our discretion. Personalised products include any products that are commissioned or have an artist dedication. These are likely to have been discussed and agreed with the publisher or artist prior to the order being placed.
Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours after your order is placed.
ACCESS
It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you have ordered will fit into your home. It is very important that you carefully measure where the artwork is going to be situated and also whether we can deliver it to the location. Please be sure to check these details in advance of placing your order and contact us first if you are unsure. Our in-situ photos and use of augmented reality artwork placement software are a visual guide only and not an exact representation of scale.
COLOUR & ANOMALIES
Although we are confident in our fine art reproduction team, their processes and ability to produce limited edition art that is as closely matched to the original product as possible, goods may not appear the same colour as shown on our website this is simply due to limitations of browser monitors and software.
Within acceptable limits, there may occur blemishes in our frames, such as small knots, which is a natural occurrence in many frame mouldings and not considered defective in any way, this all adds to the character and individuality of the product.
CONFIDENTIALITY & SAFETY
All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Our servers are highly secure and use SSL encryption whenever you input your credit card details. We don’t store your credit card details at any time, but only use it to obtain a reference at the time of purchase.
